New Zealand freeze-dried oyster is among the most zinc-dense whole foods available, and Frtil spent six months testing raw material from seven countries to minimize heavy metal content; then published the results. The Oyster Zinc carries a Trusted rating because oyster naturally bioaccumulates cadmium: all oyster products, including fresh and canned, test above California's Prop 65 cadmium threshold, and this product is no exception. Frtil discloses their Prop 65 results voluntarily, which most brands do not. We carry it for fertility support and recommend consulting your provider if you have questions about heavy metal exposure during preconception.
