Post-Miscarriage Recovery Bundle.
$171.17
A one-month bundle from Wisdom of the Womb for the weeks after a miscarriage: a loose-leaf herbal tea, a bath soak, a massage oil, castor oil with a wool flannel, moxa with an extinguisher, and...
WHY WE CARRY IT
Something to hold onto in the weeks after.
Everything for one month is in the box, and the ingredients are published for each piece. Wisdom of the Womb designed it for the first month after a miscarriage. We carry it for the ritual and the care it offers, with the maker's directions and cautions kept front and center.
If you're giving it to someone else, it can say what's hard to say: I know, and I'm here.
For the first month after
Designed by the maker for the weeks following a miscarriage.
Ingredients published
Full lists for the tea, the bath soak and both oils.
Tea, bath, touch, warmth
Plus a massage video and a guided meditation by email.
Not during pregnancy
The maker's caution: not for pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Details, with care.
Mermaid Bath Soak (7 oz): Epsom salt, pink Himalayan salt, bladderwrack, dulse, kelp, laminaria, lavender flowers, peppermint, and essential oils of peppermint, lavender, marjoram, rosemary, chamomile, basil and eucalyptus.
Womb Healing Massage Oil (2 oz): safflower oil with organic essential oils of sweet marjoram, cypress, lavender, clary sage, ylang ylang, geranium and chamomile.
Castor Oil (4 oz): 100% organic, expeller-pressed, filtered castor oil.
Also included: Womb Warming Moxa with extinguisher, 100% wool flannel (9 x 18 in), tea infuser, Fertility Womb Massage video tutorial, Post-Miscarriage Guided Meditation (sent by email).
Tea: add 1 tablespoon of the blend to an infuser, pour about 1 cup of boiling water over it, and infuse for 5 to 15 minutes. The maker's two pages give different amounts: one cup two to three times a day on the bundle page, two to four cups a day in the guide. We've asked which applies.
Bath soak: add about a quarter of the soak to the sachet bag, tie it closed, and soak for at least 15 minutes, at least once a week.
Massage: once a week, outside active bleeding, using the massage oil, castor oil and flannel with the maker's video.
Moxa: light the end like incense and hold it about 1 inch from the skin, moving in slow circles or small pecking motions, for about 15 minutes. In the maker's words: "DO NOT TOUCH YOUR SKIN WITH THE MOXA!"
Meditation: sent by the maker as an email link.

A product that meets our Standard under specific conditions — for example, a product that is appropriate for some stages but not others, or that carries important use-context. Conditional products include clear guidance.
Why we chose this product:
Conditional because it is made for one specific time, the weeks after a pregnancy loss, and because of who it isn't for. Wisdom of the Womb states it is not intended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and to stop once a pregnancy test is positive. The tea is a strong eighteen-herb blend, and the moxa is a heat practice with its own directions. We carry it for the ritual and the care it offers, not for the maker's claims about clearing or detoxifying, which we haven't verified.
